Internship tutor at the Faculty of Economics:

Internships are an integral part of the study program at the Faculty of Economics at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).
The basic objectives of internships are as follows:
– enabling students to verify the knowledge they have acquired during classes (practical use);
– obtaining economic and production information from an institution or business entity in order to analyze it during classes (after the internship);
– acquiring the necessary (on the labor market) practical experience. Internships can be carried out in Poland and abroad.
Domestic internships (depending on the field of study) can be carried out in: banks and parabank institutions, manufacturing and trading companies keeping full accounting, tax offices, insurance companies, central and local offices, brokerage offices, logistics companies, commodity farms.
Foreign internships can be carried out in other EU countries, Norway, Switzerland, the USA. They can take place in all the entities indicated above.
The institutions (companies) in which STUDENTS want to do internships are indicated by themselves. The deadline for submitting information about the place of internship is set by their Supervisors.
At the Faculty of Economics, professional internships are required to be carried out during the second year of studies (on days free from classes) or during the holiday period (after the 4th semester of studies).
Exceptionally, in justified cases, with the consent of the Internship Supervisor, they can be carried out at a different time.

Informacja dotyczy absolwentów studiów pierwszego stopnia, drugiego stopnia oraz jednolitych studiów magisterskich
Dla absolwentów, którzy ukończyli studia (złożyli egzamin dyplomowy) dnia 1 lipca 2021 roku lub w terminie późniejszym:
Dyplomy ukończenia studiów przygotowywane są do odbioru w terminie 30 dni od dnia ukończenia studiów (dnia złożenia egzaminu dyplomowego).
Informacja o możliwości odbioru dyplomu i suplementu do dyplomu wraz z odpisami jest zamieszczana na koncie studenta w Wirtualnym dziekanacie (eHMS), w sekcji Moje Dane -> Informacje o toku studiów. Na końcu podanych tam informacji, w wierszu „Dokumenty dyplomowe” – adnotacja: „Dyplom – do odbioru” informuje, że dokumenty czekają już na absolwenta.
Odbiór dyplomu odbywa się w Zespole Dokumentacji Studiów Biura Spraw Studenckich:
Kampus SGGW, budynek nr 8, I piętro, pokój nr 101
przy ul. Nowoursynowskiej 166- Do odbioru dyplomu konieczne jest okazanie ważnego dowodu osobistego bądź paszportu.
- Dyplom odbierany jest osobiście albo przez osobę notarialnie upoważnioną przez absolwenta do odbioru dyplomu ukończenia studiów.
Dla absolwentów, którzy ukończyli studia (złożyli egzamin dyplomowy) przed dniem 1 lipca 2021 roku:
Dyplomy, suplementy do dyplomów wraz z ich odpisami przygotowuje i wydaje właściwy dziekanat.

Scientific circles
Currently, there are nine research clubs at the Faculty of Economics:
- Scientific Circle of Economists , was established in 1961.
- Interfaculty Scientific Circle of Tourism , was established in 2004.
- Scientific Circle of Investments “Blue Chip, was established in 2006
- Scientific Circle of Financiers and Bankers , was established in 2006.
- Logistics Scientific Circle , was established in 2009.
- Scientific Circle of Marketers “INSIGHT” , was established in 2011.
- Enactus, was established in 2011
- Public Relations Student Research Group , was established in 2013.
- Science Club “Finance and Economy”, was established in 2015
- Scientific Circle for International Economic and European Relations, was established in 2016.
The activity of the circles includes various forms of activity, including:
- lectures and training,
- participation in specialized conferences,
- organization of seminars and science camps,
- organization of meetings with representatives of public administration institutions and the private sector.
Dorms
The Warsaw University of Life Sciences has 3,900 places in 11 student houses in Warsaw. SGGW offers students very good living conditions in single, double and triple rooms. Most of the dormitories are divided into 4-room segments, each segment has a separate bathroom, toilet and shower, a structural internet and telephone network as well as radio and TV antenna installation are connected to most of the rooms. On each floor there is a kitchen room for self-catering.
The newest dormitory (Limba) consists of single and double rooms, grouped into 2-room segments, each with a bathroom and a kitchenette.
The price for a place in a student house, depending on the standard, ranges from PLN 250 to PLN 450 per month.
