Objectives of establishing the studies
Expanding knowledge and acquiring specialized skills necessary to manage a car fleet in transport, production and service companies, both in relation to trucks and passenger cars.
Study addressees
Graduates of an undergraduate or engineering or undergraduate degree in any discipline. The addressees of the studies are in particular:
- people running a business in the field of road transport, but also in production and service companies with their own car fleets,
- management staff and employees of transport companies, managing a fleet of vehicles,
- employees of logistics units in the field of transport who want to supplement their practical experience with current knowledge,
- specialists for logistics who manage transport,
- people who want to work in positions related to transport and car fleet management,
- people for whom managing a transport fleet may become an interesting professional challenge,
- people interested in expanding their knowledge, self-improvement and improving their own qualifications.
Recruitment rules
Postgraduate students may be holders of a university degree (at least a bachelor’s or engineering degree).
The studies will last two semesters. Classes will start in the winter semester according to the organization of the academic year at the university.
Recruitment of candidates for studies is open and takes place on a first come first served basis and complete documents are submitted.

Skills acquired by graduates of postgraduate studies
Students will be introduced to the theoretical and practical aspects of managing the transport fleet of company vehicles in the enterprise. All the most important issues that enable the functioning and competitiveness of an enterprise (entrepreneur) with a fleet of vehicles will be presented comprehensively. Students will learn basic information on the functioning of transport, car leasing market, fleet policy, rules of negotiations and contacts with contractors, methods of financing the transport fleet, and conditions of its maintenance. They will also gain detailed knowledge in the field of counting and minimizing the costs of maintaining a fleet of vehicles, the use of modern IT solutions (programs and technologies), directions of mobility development and car fleet management.
Certificate and Exam
The condition for graduation is:
- crediting the subjects included in the study program,
- passing the semester exams on the material presented during the semesters with at least a satisfactory result,
- timely payment of the tuition fee.
After successfully passing the exams, participants will receive a certificate from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (the template is specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of September 1, 2011 on professional titles awarded to graduates, conditions for issuing and necessary elements of graduation diplomas and postgraduate certificates) confirming completion of postgraduate studies .
Organization of studies
Postgraduate studies last two semesters and include 164 hours of classes.
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9-17 and Sundays from 8 am-4pm (1-2 times a month), in the buildings of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, at Nowoursynowska Street. (Look Campus map .).
The schedule will be communicated to participants at the beginning of each semester.
The organizer reserves the right not to start postgraduate studies in case of insufficient number of applications. In such a situation, recruitment participants will receive a refund of all paid tuition fees.
People from outside Warsaw
for an additional fee, they can use the “Ikar” guest rooms at the Assistant Hotel of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

The rooms can be:
- Single room – we have 10 of them, the current price is PLN 155 / day
- Double rooms – there are 46 of them, the current price is PLN 200.00 / day / room
- If the segment is divided into a living room and a bedroom, it constitutes an apartment.
There are 3 apartments in the Ikar Guest Rooms for PLN 280.00 per night.
Each room has access to the Internet and a telephone. Single rooms and apartments additionally TV.
On the ground floor of our facility there is a bar called Dedal, which serves our guests breakfast, lunch and dinner. The use of the bar is not obligatory. Breakfasts are included in the price of the accommodation.
