Objectives of establishing the studies
Management in cooperative banking, and in particular the management of a cooperative bank, is a significant challenge for managers, which requires a combination of knowledge and skills in the field of economics, finance, banking and management. Considering the current development and changes taking place in the financial markets, resulting from, inter alia, rapidly changing international and domestic law, the increasing globalization of markets and the pursuit of satisfying the needs and expectations of customers by financial institutions, it becomes important to educate employees of cooperative banks.
The purpose of establishing the Postgraduate Studies in Cooperative Bank Management is to broaden the knowledge in the field of cooperative bank management. In addition, Postgraduate Studies are aimed at enabling students to acquire new skills in the field of cooperative bank management, which may be beneficial for students, cooperative banks and the entire cooperative banking sector.
The studies last two semesters and include 160 hours of classes. The studies will take place at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) during Saturday and Sunday meetings. Students will receive a set of didactic materials on the implemented issues. The lecturers at the Postgraduate Studies in Co-operative Bank Management will be people with extensive practical, didactic and scientific experience.
Study addressees
Postgraduate Studies in Management of a Cooperative Bank are a form of education designed for graduates of higher education studies in any discipline. The studies are especially recommended for people who work in cooperative banks, commercial banks, financial institutions cooperating with cooperative banks and members of supervisory boards of cooperative banks.
Recruitment rules
Students of postgraduate studies can be people with a first or second degree diploma (bachelor, engineer, master).
The studies will last two semesters. Recruitment of candidates for studies is open and takes place on a first come first served basis and complete documents are submitted.

Skills acquired by graduates of postgraduate studies
The learning outcomes include the knowledge, skills and social competences related to the management of a cooperative bank.
In particular, students will acquire knowledge and skills related to the methods, techniques and tools related to the management of a cooperative bank, taking into account the latest knowledge and practice in this field.
A student graduating from studies has broad social and managerial competences in the field of managing an organization which is a cooperative bank.
Certificate and Exam
The condition for graduation is to write a diploma thesis and pass the final exam.
Upon successful completion of the final examination, participants will receive a certificate attesting to the completion of postgraduate studies.
Organization of studies
The studies will be conducted at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, ul. Nowoursynowska 166. (Look Campus map .).
The studies will last two semesters with a total of 160 hours.
In each semester, there will be several meetings at two-week intervals (on Saturdays and Sundays). According to the schedule given to participants at the beginning of each semester.
The organizer reserves the right not to start postgraduate studies in case of insufficient number of applications.
In such a situation, recruitment participants will receive a refund of all amounts paid.
