Conditions for completing postgraduate studies
- Participation in at least 80% of the classes included in the study program.
- Obtaining credits in subjects included in the study program (P) on the basis of presence and tasks performed (participation in discussions, solving tasks, preparation of presentations).
- Obtaining positive results in partial examinations (E) – passing three partial examinations (E) with at least a satisfactory result.
- Submission of the diploma thesis (PD) within 2 weeks before the planned end of the given edition of Postgraduate Studies. The diploma thesis is carried out under the supervision of the supervisor selected by the student. Students choose the subject of their diploma theses after the first semester, from among the topics proposed by the seminar leaders, with at least a doctoral degree. Diploma theses are prepared under the supervision of people who scientifically deal with a given research area. The condition for taking the diploma examination is the submission of two copies of the thesis (a printout with an electronic version saved on a CD) along with a written statement from the thesis supervisor on the admission of the thesis to the next stage of the procedure at the Study Manager within 14 days before the scheduled date of the examination. After being accepted by the promoter, the works will be reviewed by at least one reviewer.
The method of calculating the overall result of completing postgraduate studies
The final grade on the certificate of completion of postgraduate studies will be determined as the arithmetic mean of the grades obtained from partial examinations and the grade for the diploma dissertation by the supervisor and reviewer.
