Public Relations Scientific Circle

The Public Relations Student Research Group was established in 2013 at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. The research supervisor is dr hab. Michał Roman. The club brings together ambitious students who want to develop their passions and increase their competences. Activity in a research club is a perfect complement to academic knowledge. Thanks to membership, students can acquire the skills necessary for their future professional career, such as working in a group or proper communication in a team.

In our organization, we pay a lot of attention to projects initiated by our members and corresponding to their interests. A wide range of activities allows us to organize projects with a wide variety of topics, and at the same time ensures the regular development of the organization. As members of SKN “Public Relations”, we organize cyclical events, as well as those that respond to the current needs of members and our partners. The cyclical events include, above all, the Practical Days of the Week (PDT). Members of our club join charity activities, such as the DKMS Marrow Donor Days. The scope of activities of the scientific club is very wide, it covers topics related to Public Relations, economics, management, social communication and tourism.

Our main goal is personal development. We expand our knowledge by participating in conferences, inter alia, in Łomża, Białystok and Warsaw. Thanks to such trips, we have the opportunity to improve the skills of public speaking, make new friends and gain valuable knowledge about topics related to the conference. The free Excel training courses organized by us, organized in cooperation with professional training companies, are very popular. During the workshop, students learn valuable tips and “tricks” on how to solve selected problems, which are very often part of competency tests during an interview.

Anyone who wants to develop their skills and passions and make new friends can become a member of our Circle. One becomes a full member through the approval of the management board.
